Katherine has an extensive knowledge of tea.  Her experience in traditional English tea, both “elevensies” and high-tea has been cultivated through her English family heritage as well as numerous extended stays in the United Kingdom.  Her family has also encouraged exploration a variety of Indian teas and methods of cultivating tea.  Growing up in South Africa, Katherine has become familiar with other types of tea, particularly native herbals such as rooibos, as well as styles of service.  In addition to planning smaller teas, Katherine is employed as a consultant and coordinator for a major tea event for the Cancer Association in Colorado.
